Registration for the 2014 Oregon Junior Science & Humanities Symposium is now open. This years Symposium is being held at Oregon Episcopal School on Sunday, March 9, 2014 with student presentations beginning at 8:00am in the Drinkward Center for Math, Science & Technology.

The Beaverton Sweet Tomatoes and Aloha Costco have both made donations to the judge breakfast at the Intel Northwest Science Expo. Thank you for supporting the science fair.

The Intel Northwest Science Expo is seeking volunteers to help with both middle school and high school fairs. There are a variety of jobs ranging from set-up to display checks. If you have time March 20-21 or April 3-4 please click on the frog to register your preferences.

The Society for Science and the Public has a free student membership giving you free access to Science News and other opportunities. Registration requires an email address and starting next year all high school students will need to have a membership number in order to register for an Intel ISEF affiliated fair. http://societyforscience.org/studentregister

The Beaverton Hillsboro Science Expo will now be located at the Intel STEM Center otherwise known as the Capital Center Entry B.

I am offering a 2 credit course through Portland Community College for $25. This is for high school students who are doing a project for an NWSES fair and also includes volunteering at a science fair. There must be 15 students in order for the course to be activated.
