Innovation Exploration Award
From the first rocket research in 1936, to the first US satellite in 1958, to the many missions to learn about Venus, Neptune, Jupiter and most recently the Mars Curiosity Lander in 2012, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology (Caltech), is a place where science, technology and engineering intermix. JPL produces iconic robotic space explorers sent to every corner of the solar system, helping us discover how the universe, the solar system, and life formed and evolved. JPL was established in 1944 by Caltech, one of the world's premier scientific and technical universities whose mission is to expand human knowledge and benefit society through research integrated with education.

Today is the $5 deadline for middle school projects directly entering Intel NWSE. New this year is the ability to email paperwork directly to me at email@example.com. The benefit is you save postage; the downside is I am not printing them out, so you must have your copies at set-up with the poster or the student will not be eligible for prizes. Do label each page sent with the exhibit number.
For projects following the MSEZ rules you need to send a signed MSEZ form for each student on a project and 1 set of procedures. If the project used the ISEF rules forms 1, 1A, 1B (one per student), research plan and whichever special forms are needed for the project. Human Subjects Form 4, Vertebrate Animals Form 5A or 5B, PHBA Form 6A & 6B for tissues. These forms must ahve all applicable signatures.
